How Do I Short Synths?

If you feel like the synths prices or the underlying asset prices are too high and unsustainable, you have the option to short synths (and not affect the underlying stock pick prices.)
To short a synth, you need to first mint uSTONKS and then sell it on the open market.
Please see our guide on how to mint synths!
You’ve done the hard part, now it’s time to sell your synths and essentially short it.
When the synths prices drop, purchase your original amount of synths to get your collateral back, and pocket the difference in prices as profit.
You also have the option to let the contract expire and withdraw your remaining collateral less the settled value of the synths you sold.
